Game Design

Yesterday in game design I finally figured out how to make my Loading screen work the way i visioned it to be. I took me the longest time but with some help from Mrs. White and Jacob i finally figured it out and i also played around with some of the stuff and it finally works. My teammate left me in charge of making the loading screen. I was like I dont think i can do it but Dylan made me do it and im glad he did because i finally did it.

This is my teams vlog. In this video we talk about the game and how we are planning it and what tools in flash have been the most helpful and what is the most difficult tools to work with in flash.

Plannning My Game

This is a Picture of My Team. We are Team SkullCrusher. I'm on the Left and Dylan is on the right.  We are good as a Team. We mostly Share all of the responsiblities Except a couple but we always ask each other for help when we don't understand what to do. Our Imagining our games are very similar. So that is why we chose to be in a team together. We get a lot done when we actually sit down and work.

Choosing a Game

Choosing my game was really easy. My topic is on Technology in the past, present, and future. I have always been interested in Technology and especially how technology has changed through the ages. Now I want to help others learn about technology from the past through the future through the game I'm going to make. There are a lot of things about Technology now all I have to do is pick what I want in my game and put it up there. I am going to choose the most interesting things about technology and put that up there because I do not want my game to be boring, I want people to be interested in my game and want to play it and not be bored. So that is choosing my game.

Mini Game Project

My mini game was a little difficult to figure out at first. I couldn't get my carrot to loop but after a couple of days i got it to loop. It became easier because i knew more about how to work flash. Then i finally got the game complete about a week and a couple of days later. So after i got the game complete I started playing around with the speeds of the carrot and bunny. I made the carrot and bunny really fast. Some things on the minigame were easy to figure out but other things were a little more difficult to find out. After making this minigame I want to make the actual game in here so much more. I cant wait to make another game.

Making this game was really fun, interesting, and difficult at the same time. I would deffenately make another game like this. I cant wait to make the actual game for this class it is going to be so much fun to make and you get a partner.

Game Review

                     The most effective game for me was Learn the bones. This game was sort of fun but it was really educational at the same time i would recomend this game to annoy one who needs to learn the bones of the body or if you just wanted to play a game. Also it was really easy to play it wasnt difficult you go the hang of the game pretty quick. But if i could say one thing about it i would make it more interesting than it is and i would make more levels to it.

                       The second game that i played was drift runners. This game on the other hand was really really fun but wasn't really the educational. I would play this game just for fun. I enjoyed this game it kept me interested all the way to the end of the game. Not a lot of games keep me that interested. I would not recommend this  game for educational purposes.

            My experience in Globaloria during my first has been pretty fun. At first it was a little hard but after a while of working with it and playing around with it, it got easier. Now im actually pretty comfortable working with Wiki and Globaloria.


         I believe that being safe in the internet is a big thing. Someone could steal your idenity really easily. Someone could also find out where you live and stalk you or even rob you. You never know so the best thing to do about internet safety is to be safe.  Never put your full name, address, or anything that could lead someone to your house on the internet.
